Am privilege to have a grower runner in my group. She explained that those are mini home farms. The layout of their plot is rather interesting. Usually one side is their house compound while the other side is their farm plot. In this picture above, the right side is their house while the left is for growing and shed for storage. Zoom in on the left. The clear plastic polytunnel on the left is for growing delicate crops. Those hardy crops can be grown without cover at the far left. The shed with the black shade cloth is for storage. Agriculture growing needs space for tools, fertiliser, soil, walk paths and other stuff. Typ...
